Our Story

What to Know about Visiting

As an animal sanctuary, we take in injured, mistreated or unwanted animals—typically raised for food production— and protect and care for them in a safe, spacious, natural habitat.

Our core mission is to prioritize the welfare of resident animals above all else. Unlike venues that display captive animals for entertainment, we provide lifelong care for animals who cannot be released back into the wild.

While some animals will come to you, you may see others resting in hidden spots, where a calm atmosphere is essential for their wellbeing.

For these reasons, Down to Earth Farm isn’t a public venue, but reserved for visitors, groups and events. If you or your group would like to visit, email us about your interest, and let us know if you have a date in mind.
